Ruth Boyce was appointed as the Macmillan Senior Specialist Dietitian for Pancreatic cancer patients in October 2014. She graduated from University of Ulster, Coleraine, with a First Class Honours Degree in Dietetics, in 2010. Ruth’s role involves providing nutritional assessment, advice and support to pancreatic cancer patients through the whole cancer journey. She advises on a range of nutrition related issues, associated with pancreatic cancer, including pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT), potential micronutrient deficiencies and aiming to prevent unintentional weight loss utilising a range of nutritional interventions.
